High Honors is a personal school dashboard. It shows your Gmail, Google Chat, Google Classroom and Google Calendar in one place. This page explains what it does with your information, in plain words.
What it reads, and why
- Gmail - to count, list and open your mail, send mail you write, save drafts, and send mail you scheduled.
- Google Chat - to list your chats, show and send messages, edit or delete your own messages, start chats and chatrooms, and leave group chats you choose.
- Google Classroom - to show your classes, assignments with your status and grades, announcements, class materials and class members, and to join or leave classes when you ask.
- Google Calendar - to show your events, create events, invite people, answer invitations and delete events when you ask.
- Your school directory (school accounts only) - to find people by name when you start a chat.
It only does things you press a button for. It never sends mail, messages or invites on its own, except a mail you scheduled.
What it saves
- Your High Honors user ID, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password - never the password itself - and your recovery email.
- The keys Google gives it to act for you, stored encrypted.
- Your settings: language, theme, text size, which classes and senders you chose to show, and mail you scheduled.
- Email addresses and names you've written to or chatted with, only to suggest them when you type.
- How long you use High Honors: once a minute while it's on screen, which tab is open. Kept for 90 days.
Your mail, messages, classwork and events are not copied or kept. They're read from Google when you open a page.
Who sees it
The site owner can see a list of accounts with each user ID, when it was made, when it was last used, how long each tab was used, and how many Google accounts and Macs are connected (not which ones). Never your mail, chats, classwork, events or email addresses.
Nobody else sees anything. Your data is never sold, shared, or used for ads, and it isn't used to train AI. The only emails High Honors sends by itself are the 5-minute codes for your recovery email and forgotten passwords or IDs, and a security alert when your password or recovery email is changed.
Deleting everything
Settings → Your account → Delete account removes everything High Honors saved about you and disconnects your Google accounts. You can also remove one Google account in Settings, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Nothing in your Gmail, Chat, Classroom or Calendar is deleted either way.

High Honors' use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

High Honors는 개인 학교 대시보드예요. Gmail, Google 채팅, Google 클래스룸, Google 캘린더를 한곳에서 보여 줘요. 이 페이지는 내 정보를 어떻게 다루는지 쉬운 말로 설명해요.
무엇을 읽고, 왜 읽는지
- Gmail - 메일을 세고, 목록으로 보여 주고, 열고, 내가 쓴 메일을 보내고, 임시 보관함에 저장하고, 예약한 메일을 보내기 위해서예요.
- Google 채팅 - 채팅 목록을 보여 주고, 메시지를 보여 주고 보내고, 내 메시지를 고치거나 지우고, 채팅과 채팅방을 새로 만들고, 내가 고른 그룹 채팅에서 나가기 위해서예요.
- Google 클래스룸 - 내 수업, 내 제출 상태와 점수가 있는 과제, 공지, 수업 자료, 수업 멤버를 보여 주고, 내가 원할 때 수업에 들어가거나 나가기 위해서예요.
- Google 캘린더 - 내 일정을 보여 주고, 내가 원할 때 일정을 만들고, 사람을 초대하고, 초대에 답하고, 일정을 지우기 위해서예요.
- 학교 주소록 (학교 계정만) - 채팅을 시작할 때 이름으로 사람을 찾기 위해서예요.
내가 버튼을 누른 일만 해요. 예약한 메일을 빼고는, 메일, 메시지, 초대를 스스로 보내지 않아요.
무엇을 저장하는지
- High Honors 아이디, 알아볼 수 없게 바꾼(해시) 비밀번호 - 원래 비밀번호는 절대 저장하지 않아요 - 그리고 복구 이메일.
- 나 대신 일할 수 있도록 Google이 준 키. 암호화해서 저장해요.
- 내 설정: 언어, 테마, 글자 크기, 보이게 고른 수업과 보낸 사람, 예약한 메일.
- 내가 메일을 보내거나 채팅한 사람의 이메일 주소와 이름. 입력할 때 추천해 주는 데만 써요.
- High Honors를 얼마나 쓰는지: 화면에 켜져 있는 동안 1분마다 어떤 탭이 열려 있는지. 90일 동안 보관해요.
메일, 메시지, 과제, 일정 내용은 복사하거나 보관하지 않아요. 페이지를 열 때 Google에서 바로 읽어 와요.
누가 보는지
사이트 주인은 계정 목록을 볼 수 있어요: 아이디, 만든 날, 마지막으로 쓴 때, 탭별 사용 시간, 연결된 Google 계정과 Mac의 개수(어떤 계정인지는 아님). 메일, 채팅, 과제, 일정, 이메일 주소는 절대 보지 않아요.
그 밖에는 아무도 안 봐요. 내 데이터는 절대 팔거나, 공유하거나, 광고에 쓰지 않고, AI 학습에도 쓰지 않아요. High Honors가 스스로 보내는 메일은 복구 이메일 확인과 비밀번호나 아이디를 잊었을 때 보내는 5분짜리 코드뿐이에요.
모두 지우기
설정 → 내 계정 → 계정 삭제를 누르면 High Honors가 나에 대해 저장한 모든 것이 지워지고 Google 계정 연결도 끊겨요. 설정에서 Google 계정 하나만 빼거나, myaccount.google.com/permissions에서 접근 권한을 취소할 수도 있어요. 어느 쪽이든 Gmail, 채팅, 클래스룸, 캘린더에 있는 것은 하나도 지워지지 않아요.
